At the start of the year, my New Years resolution was self care. Three quarters into the year and I have failed miserably at this. BUT there is still time right! My new bedside details 😍 I changed a few things around the house today before little fingers get to them! In saying that, no drastic changes were made. We will try the word ‘no’ first! Happy Friday! Who went trick or treating last night? Last year I was not prepared for the amount of kids I’d have knocking on my door so I stocked up big time this year and I only had 2 visitors (and they weren’t even kids, they were older teenagers barley even dressed up 🤣) it does seem though that Halloween is becoming bigger and bigger in Australia each year, whereas it was never celebrated here when I was a kid. Wonder how big it will be by the time my two are in primary school.

There is nothing I love more then a lazy weekend in our @peteralexanderofficial pjs. Even if our lazy weekend had a purpose ...at 1am on Saturday morning I decided to put my foot down on Ollie’s bad sleeping habits and started sleep training. As I sat there at 2am waiting for Ollie to settle for the third time that night, I started to read up on sleep training and I have not looked back 😱 since that moment Ollie has self settled for every single nap, been as happy as ever and the best part SLEPT FROM 7pm - 6am 🥳 . Am I getting my hopes up too early? Or is sleep training actually this magic?
